Introduction to Cryptocurrency

Bitcoin. Ethereum. Litecoin. You might have heard these words from friends or the media. You probably asked questions like; What is cryptocurrency? How does it work? Why does it exist? How do you get it? How do you store it?

We will be leading a free two hour event to help you answer all of these questions and more. We’ll be providing pizza and drinks followed by a workshop lead by Wharton economics graduate, former credit risk trader & software engineer, PK Banks.

Expect to leave with an understanding of:

  2. Blockchain
  3. Cryptocurrency wallets
  4. How to acquire cryptocurrency
  5. Wallet set up

About PK Banks:

PK is a ruby developer with 4 years of software development experience, he has a deep interest in Blockchain and cryptocurrency. Prior to software, PK ran a credit risk trading desk for a $2b fund at Brevin Howard. PK graduated with a degree in economics from Wharton and was born & raised in Chicago.
